Why its good luck to dream of someone dying

Before I used to understand the language of dreaming I would always freak out when I had a dream of someone I knew dying. But over the decades of dream interpretation I have realized that when someone dies in a dream its really a positive omen.

I know you might have woken up having this ominous feeling of something bad will occur, but I can assure you that you have nothing to worry about. Your unconscious might be detecting this change long before you have accepted it.

Dreams have a funny way of telling you someone you know is going through a major transformation in their lives. These are really big stages that we all go through life that change our personality, maturity and path. I am sure other people had dreams about you dying but you are still alive and well.

Reasons why someone is dying in your dreams?

  • Graduating from high school, college, or earning advanced degrees.
  • Landing the first full-time job and building a career.
  • Transitioning from living with family to living independently.
  • Welcoming and raising children.
  • Break ups
  • Moving out of a country
  • If you have ESP abilities you might be picking up on an actual death

#1. Death but a rebirth

Deaths in dreams are always followed by a rebirth. This is why the ancient symbol of the snake eating its tail (ouroboros) shows this regeneration within the person. Like the snake sheds its skin it becomes a symbol of the old ways shedding only for the new hence why snakes are commonly known as positive symbols in dreams

Dreaming of someone’s death might signify a major change or transformation happening in your life. It can represent the end of a phase and the beginning of something new.

#2. We all need to die in dreams to grow

If you are worried about someone dying in your dream this is furthest from the truth. You must look forward for this new change that will take place and hope for positive growth. If we didnt die in our dream it would suggest there isn’t any room to grow as an individual. Dreaming of death may reflect inner growth and the shedding of old beliefs, habits, or thought patterns to make way for personal renewal and positive change.

#3. Are you always worried?

Dreams of death could be a manifestation of your fears or anxieties about mortality, loss, or the uncertainty of life. Known as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a mental health condition characterized by excessive, uncontrollable worry and anxiety about various aspects of life, such as work, relationships, health, or everyday situations. People with GAD often find it challenging to control their worrying, and it can significantly impact their daily functioning and well-being. These inner feelings are often expressed in our dreams as someone dying.

#4. Things have finally ended in your life

Sometimes we dream of people dying when we have emotionally accepted something in our lives. These dream are kind of cool because they open the door for change and progress with the person or the dreamer. For example, if someone who had a bad break up might transform into a new person hence why you had this dream.

#5. Precognition death dreams

In very rare cases┬ádreams of death could be your subconscious mind alerting you to potential risks or issues in your waking life. Not to scare you but you might be dreaming of someone who is dying and it could come true. Sometimes it doesn’t mean this exact person but someone who mirrors them in some way in life. For example, if you knew someone leaving the country it might replace them with a unknown person who will soon die.
